PLE Prezis

Last week we talked about Personal Learning Environments, and the proposed activity for this week is to create a Prezi describing your own PLE. Post the Prezi link here, and don't forget to add a comment about your PLE: do you think you have one, or are on the way to creating it? Which tools are part of your PLE? Does it help (and how) in your learning process? creating new connections and contacts? managing content and information? getting ready for the job market?

Here is my PLE link: http://prezi.com/d5ddgmyrn_t3/my-personal-learning-environment/

As you will see, it is not very developed yet and i'm having trouble with Twitter and linkedin, as i'm not sure where to locate them exactly (i would not use them to communicate with my friends like i do via facebook but probably, in the future i will put them under learning and job connections). However, i have noticed that my PLE is more complex than a few months ago, as i'm getting used to use tools that i find more useful everytime.
I don't like to mix a lot of tools, so i have divided them into sections, which means they are related to each other.

To conclude, i'm not using some tools wich we started using in class (such as delicious) but i will try them again and see if i can include them in my PLE.

here is my prezi.Yes, of course I have a PLE. Everybody does, even the people who do not use technology for learning. Although, I think my presentation refers to more my Personal Environment...as I have mentioned tools apart from the ones used for learning. Yes, it obviously helps in my learning process as knowledge becomes available at a finger's touch (literally). Also, the skills acquired in using these tools become important for future applications in my life. Social skills and abilities (in reality and over web2.0) are becoming "imprecindible" in this modern life. There are advantages, of course...it becomes easier for businesses to establish overseas contacts and get global trade. As well it helps people get more friends...and family, sometimes. Amazing, of course.

I think I have a PLE but every day new trends or new interfaces are being created that makes it a never-ending learning experience. Also, some of the tools or applications I am using have helped me know people that like to research or read things that I do so it makes the research faster and easier.
Anther situation, these tools I mention in the Prezi help is in companies that want to increase their customers relationship.

here is my PLE! It shows my PLE based on web2.0 and on the ground (i couldn't find a better word, but basically "on the ground" means the part of my PLE which are not on the network).

what's more, I think the PLE is keep changing because of those new technical tools!

i am not using alot of 2.0 tools, so my idea is to include all the websites and tools that use in one page, and i could use one username and password for them all.....

I named this Prezi “MY FUTURE PERSONAL LEARNING ENVIRONMENT” because as you can see, apart from the tools I normally use, I also include many tools I don’t use but would be happy to use in the future. I also want to show that my learning experience has many dimensons in this dynamic environment with many different new opportunities knocking our doors every moment. It is a circle of many diverse colours which represent the joy from the learning and trying all the altered faces life has. I would really like to take my learning environment to Colombia someday and start showing my fellow samaritans how it looks.

You can also figure out by watching my Prezi that at the moment I have quite a broad PLE, however step by step I am on my way to create the IDEAL LEARNING ENVIRONMENT for my daily needs. As Sasha also mentions on her comment, every day new interfaces, applications and web tools are being created, so new adaptations in the virtual world will be on my schedule too. Hopefully this will help me to manage my time better and the resources I have available to dream more during the day.

This is what i most use in my daily life and what forms my PLE...
I learn a lot from it, sometimes even too much but it doesn't do any harm in the end.
It keeps growing: if i did one last year it wouldn't have been that big, which is something normal i guess, there are more and more tools created and we might like and use them.
I think it is good for us since we learn more in more suitable ways and we chat more in more entertaining ways.

This is my presentation.
As we have all understood a good learning environment enables us to do things (such as school work or business) in a efficient and convenient way. What I appreciate the most is that you have access to all the tools you need from one single place. For example I can work on a project simultaneously with other people at the same time as im listening to music and talking on the "phone" with my friends in sweden. In the "old days" this would have required a telephone, a type writer, and a radio. Not to forget, the paper waste.

I don´t like to link my different accounts in facebook, twitter and others since I personally find it annoying if I am following someone on twitter and there is a lot of tweets blips. Most of my friends and family do not use twitter, blip, digg, etc and that is why I don´t want to link that to facebook.

My PLE: http://prezi.com/vvkahz7kcfpk/

I have had good experience working with tools online. There are some tools which I use alot and some others I dont use at all. However I hope that some time soon some crazy developers from hopefully Google (not microsoft) are going to come up with something that looks like all the ideas we have had. It would make everythign much easier. And thats what Computers are therefore in the end. To make life easier. I also think that in the beginning I was resistig to learn something new, and wasnt so interested in trying too many new applications and tools. But now I think im much more open minded towards all the crazy applications and tools you can find online. To sum it all up I think we learned more than we are actually going to admit. And it will show in the future that we have knowledge about these tools, since new tools are almost always going to be based on what already exist, making it easier to learn new things. And people please start useing the html language to create actual links...

My PREZItation

This is my PLE, and it is valuable to know what I use and understand how can it help me. Social, news and searching networks help me everyday, more than 10 times a day I would say. And knowing that we study in an age of very hight growth and advance, it will help us in the future. We will know how to work and learn with web 2.0.
Also, for me as a sponsored athlete, I recognize now the possibilities I have for self-promotion, and I don't even need to pay for it.

My presentation - http://prezi.com/gmoeo-juc5wm/

I think prezi is a useful tool in case you need to show a really creative concept or new approach to smth. I don't see any point of using it for simple, straightforward messages. It's like using iphone as a mirror.

This comment is a little late, but better late than never, eh. anyway, concerning prezi, i could definitely still use some practice. and concerning the whole web 2.0 and PLE, i definitely think that i am more of a person who enjoys physical contact and meeting up with people rather than doing it digitally. i will say though that since these new tools/programs have been introduced to me, i have continued using them and spend time using them. still deciding whether thats a good thing or not. (for example, i use Twitter a fair amount, mostly just reading not so much posting, and have found some interesting stuff, but am wondering whether it has taken time away from other things).
