I have been thinking about the plan for this class, seeing that there are only 2 sessions left (the 8th is a holiday). Today we will have the Telecommunications presentation, next week the Internet presentation. I know that we have Jooce to check out, this blog, maybe 43 things. And there is also RSS...
So, what are we doing next semester? The plan is to go back to more traditional tools, building blocks if you like; HTML, animations, a little Photoshop. But in the spirit of Web 2.0, what are you looking forward to? Is there anything we should cover that we haven't considered? Some of you have very good ideas, as I commented in the feedback. I would like to see written proposals for developing those further, ideas to give continuity to the projects (websites, web/pod casts, Web 2.0 tools). So your task (shall we call it "homework") for next week is to send an email with a short proposal to work on next semester. It could be related to the projects/topics/tools you presented, or something new, it's up to you.

Thank you Kompen, for allowing us to contribute ideas concerning what will be covered next semester.
I have to admit that I find it somewhat difficult to propose a topic, because truth is that the class / you are the one/s introducing me to the Web 2.0 tools and related topics as I hadn't heard of most of them before.
I think it would be interesting to explore the possibilites offered by podcasts.
Maybe we can find a way to force people to contribute to the ESEI Students site, as participation levels remain... stagnant.
And last but not least I have an amazing proposal:
How about some smart computer wiz comes up with a page that includes it all: allows you to share music easily, chat, exchange ideas in a structured way, tag URLs, upload fotos... you name it. Because for me personally the biggest challenge is to keep updated on what is going on on all of these sites and friendfeed isn't really doing it for me.
How the hell do people lead a SECOND life? My first one is keeping me sufficiently busy with definitely more than 43 things going on at all times.
Also, check out Studywhiz:

(Could be interesting for your field of studies.)
hey, as concerning the things that we can have a look on next semester, Im not a specialist here but what would be nice to maybe get to know some more creative tools - like photoshop (maybe corel or sth more cool). And what I would like to learn how to use (although I dunno if we wont have it on the online marketing) is the google AdWords... I know that most companies are using it, and I see it kind of complicated. If I get any other ideas, Ill come back here (BTW - I hate blogs...)
